The circular support base is a support and fastening component in stairway platform system, It's normally used for securing the handrails posts to platform and treads. Same as other handrails components, the circular support base is designed for assembling with 6063-T5 φ40 aluminum tubes. This diagram illustrates how the circular base is used to secure 40mm aluminum tubes to the tread.
